LEGO Back To The Future DeLorean set takes you back in time to the 80s

After the set of the Ghostbusters’ Ecto-1, another legendary car icon of the 80’s cinema is added to the LEGO collection.
The new set, in fact, is dedicated to the famous time machine based on a DeLorean DMC-12 created by Dr. Emmett Brown in the movie Back to the future.

The set contains the instructions and 1,872 bricks to assemble, not at the same time, all three variants of the DeLorean that appeared in the chapters of the Back to the Future series. The first is the original one, the Dmc-12 model from 1981 which at the time of shooting was already a collector’s item and out of production and which in history is modified by Emmet “Doc” Brown and is powered at 1.21 gigawatts for his time travel. The model also includes the channeling flow, embellished for the occasion with a bright brick as well as the lightning rod.

Everything is studied in detail, such as the steering wheel, the gear lever, the travel dates printed on the dashboard and the iconic gull-wing doors. To obtain the flying version of the future, the fusion generator on the rear and the folding tires are added, while for the one of the past we switch to wheels with white band and mount the printed circuit on the hood.

Also included in the set are Emmett “Doc” Brown and Marty McFly minifigures, along with a series of really nice accessories such as the license plate for the future version, the plutonium box, the hoverboard always of the future and the garbage to feed. the engine of the flying DeLorean.
