TAG Heuer Connected Caliber E4 is a powerful luxury smartwatch

Tag Heuer has announced Connected Caliber E4, the fourth generation of its luxury smartwatch based on Google’s Wear OS operating system. Compared to the previous generation, the new wearable is equipped with Qualcomm’s powerful Snapdragon Wear 4100+ processor, an OLED display protected by a sapphire crystal and longer battery life and new software features.

The steel case is available in two sizes: the classic 45mm and the new more compact 42mm. The larger model is also available in the exclusive Titanium variant.
The 42 mm features a 1.28-inch OLED display with 416 x 416 pixel resolution. The 45mm obviously has a larger panel: 1.39 inches and 454 x 454 pixels of resolution. In both cases we have 326 pixels per inch of definition.

Water resistant up to 50 meters deep, it comes complete with all the sensors of a high-end smartwatch. It has a heart rate monitor, compass, accelerometer, gyroscope, NFC and microphone. For connectivity we find the Wi-Fi connection and Bluetooth 5.0 to communicate with accessories and the phone.

On the software side, we find the second version of Wear OS with three apps pre-installed and edited by the company: TAG Heuer Wellness, TAG Heuer Golf and TAG Heuer Sports. Through these apps it is possible to start dedicated workouts that also work offline. The software interface, on the other hand, allows you to choose customized watchfaces that integrate more data from fitness, weather and sports activities.
