Propelled by the success of the Batman 80th anniversary collection, UNDONE presents an ambitious re-imagination of the dark knight gadgetry based on a Automatic Winding Mechanism supplied by SEIKO. The result of their work is the most fascinating and sleek Bat-watch ever made.
There are two variants available: The Standard Edition with a muted and sinister colorway and dark Limited Edition finished with the new Diamond-Like-Carbon coating technology. Both arrives in a 47 mm grade-2 titanium case which gives it’s a masculine vibe.
The angular edges and sandblasted surfaces add to its aggressive aesthetics. A peek at the dial shows the Batman logo just below the 12 o’clock hour marker that sits within the inner circle which shows marking like that of a radar.
Protecting the dial and movement is a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal lens, vigorously tested in our lab for optimal performance.
Another interesting detail is the outer ring with engraved indices resembling the jet engine rear exhaust of the first Batmobile. Moreover, there is an inner ring which shows 31-day marker with a yellow date pointer wheel that rotates along the perimeter day by day.
The lume illuminates to showcase a quantum radar with an icy blue color, just like a luminous detect-a-scope radar. The luminescence symbolizes Batman’s rebellion and fearsomeness and the refusal to fade in the dark.
The watch strap is fashioned after the Dark Knight’s armor and the buckle resembles his form-fitting batsuit material.
